"Pueri" is a mobile application that intends to clarify the most prevalent doubts in the care of the newborn. This application can be an important contribution to the literacy and empowerment of parents / caregivers by assisting, on the one hand, avoiding unnecessary medical consultations or visits to the emergency service and, on the other, alerting to signs or symptoms of alarm that motivate medical observation. After their availability and interaction in the community, the authors will be receptive to new suggestions from caregivers or health professionals for a constant updating of available information.
